Feaux stained glass windows
Ready to find out how to make them? Who wouldn't want beautiful luxurious stained glass windows inside of your home? Now mission accomplished!
Now what you're going to need from the dollar store. I recommend the Dollar tree it's cheapest and has all that you need.
• A coloring page-Or if you’re an artist you can draw your own
• A black sharpie marker
• A picture frame
• Thanks
• Clear blue and elmer’s glue
• small paintbrushes and something to make your paint in
• Aluminum foil
• Tape
Directions-
1) first start with picking out your coloring page
2) 2) put it inside of the glass inside of the frame of the picture frame and tape it in there
3) Take the black sharpie and trace the outline of the coloring page. Take the second to mix the black glue with the Elmer’s glue you’ll need it later
4) When done take out and sit aside everything you're going to need to start painting
5) Have your paint's ready. It's time to paint on the inside of the frame where you're going to be doing most of your painting and double coating.
6) Prepare your pants with clear glue about half and half towards the paints mix them together well
7) Now it’s time to color inside those lines from the inside of the picture frame. When done add a second coat. ((If mistakes are made that's okay. Alcohol and acute will take it right off or an exacto knife will get it if you've let the paint dry.))
8) Now to the inside of the picture take that sharpie and add more lines to fill the entire picture frame with lines to make it look like official stained glass. Now take the black blue and add to the Elmer's and I want you to go to the front of the frame and darken the outlines of the black and add more lines making it look more like stained glass. You can also do this before finish painting. Use whatever patterns you want you you're in control.
9) Last but not least when everything is completely dry and you have your beautiful painted glass, take that aluminum foil that I was telling you about and tear off a sheet that is about the size of your picture frame but just a little larger. I want you to crinkle it up and then unfold it back to normal. I now want you to put that as the back of your picture before you replace the back frame. It's beautiful isn't it it gives a metallic glimmer to your stained glass!
I hope you had fun with this project I enjoyed sharing it with you!!!
